IUCN Members in the UK

Members are of paramount importance to IUCN – without Members there would be no global network of expertise, no subscriptions to power the organisation and no democratic means of global governance for managing it.

UK Members are equally important to the National Committee for the UK for similar reasons. Over thirty organisations support the NCUK through subscription and there are many individuals in the UK who are members of the six IUCN Commissions.

The IUCN NCUK Executive Committee is keen to encourage greater participation in NCUK activity from the UK membership and hopes that this website will be one means to increase engagement. If you as an IUCN Member organisation or individual member of an IUCN Commission would like to promote your IUCN-related work on this website please contact the NCUK Secretariat (chris.mahon@iucn.org.uk).
