A meeting for those interested in green finance and saltmarsh carbon. The meeting will showcase the development of the draft Saltmarsh Carbon Code for the UK, followed by a workshop for those working on measuring and monitoring carbon.
The IUCN National Committee UK is one of the partners in a consortium of organisations to develop and pilot a UK Saltmarsh Carbon Code. Working with IUCN Members the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and RSPB, the project is coordinated by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, with social enterprise, university and private sector consultancy input.
